Julie White, the CEO of Hospitality New Zealand has a slight edge of exasperation in her voice.
The pandemic restrictions mean her organisation’s members are amongst the very hardest hit of any sector in New Zealand. But, at the time she spoke to NZBusiness, there was no sector-specific funding for the cafés, bars, restaurants and accommodation providers she represents despite sectors such as tourism, events and the creative arts receiving dedicated sector packages.
