    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

It is undoubtedly true that God gives true inspiration and ideas. This is evident in my life because I've seen, firsthand, the inspiration of God which has birthed understanding. Writing and publishing the 109th book wouldn’t be possible without Him.

To my mother, Busola Juliet Aloba, the one who would constantly check on me to know how far I had gone with this book, offering indelible advice on the subject matter. Your contribution is indispensable. I love you, Mom.

To the resource Ladies who agreed to pen a collection which has made up one Chapter of this book, Adekoya Aderonke, Victoria Olatunji, Olubukola Hadassah, Oyindamola Olaniyan, Oyebiyi Esther, Janz Mataluboz, Olayemi Adeola, Atinuke Ogunbiyi and Shola Abayomi. Thanks for doing this with me.

    CHAPTER ONE

    THE BEAUTY I MET

    ¹

I had just met her. The soft music and big wreath in the Church’s building gave it a romantic ambience. Of course, I wasn’t going to flirt with her; all I wanted was to get to know her better, since her practically unparalleled comeliness and magnetism had breezed my eyes toward her.

Allured by her beauty, I gave voice to my words. "Hi, Sister….." I uttered, the two words so indistinct and my lips partly closed.

Before the minute hand could produce its next count on the clock hung on the wall with velvet curtains at both sides, I was lost in what seemed like somewhat illusion, staring at her excitingly attractive face and her black gown.

Her exquisitely arranged hair dangled at her sides and I could see the ornament which I thought couldn’t be afforded by an average Nigerian lady. For the very first time, I thought of hugging the opposite sex very tightly, allured by her elfin beauty. Thanks to God, my spirit enchained me and gave my flesh a smackdown.

Suddenly, a muscle flexed in my angular jaw, then I relaxed again, and my face became merry as the big wreath outside the Church.

Hi, Brother Moses, shey? She asked as she pushed a patient smile to her mouth.

Her voice seemed to have birthed a new exciting atmosphere. I could almost see her teethridge; suddenly, I thought I had another thing about her to think about — her teeth. I was literally awed by how magnificent her teeth looked.

Oh, yes. I am Moses. Actually, I wasn’t expecting that you would have any idea of whoever I am……. I said, smiling like someone
