    This guide exposes some foods that are not labeled to show their true ability to make you gain weight. It is all legal, but unless you know what is going on, you can gain a lot of weight without knowing why it is happening to you. We show you where the secret sugar is hidden in your diet.

    There are hundreds of diet programs you can buy, many having more to do with amusing the reader than losing weight. We offer a few:

    1.    The Werewolf Diet. Eat Water & fruit during a new moon

    2.    Baby food diet. Watch your baby lose weight

    3.    Military diet. Mostly canned meat

    4.    Master Cleanse. Acid juices and pepper, etc.

    5.    Grapefruit diet

    6.    Cabbage Soup diet

    7.    HCG diet. Taking pregnancy hormones….

    8.    Cotton Ball diet. Eat(!) cotton balls soaked in lemonade

    9.    Juice Cleanses. And does more, as you will learn.

    10.  Tapeworm diet. Eat one. Yum.

    11.  Breatharian diet. Sunshine, water & tea & Inhale.

    12.  Blood type diet.

    13.  Flecherizing food. Chew each mouthful 100 times.

    And there are pills that will burn the fat right off your body, or so they say. Appetite suppressants can work to the extent that you eat less of the foods that are really making you fat. Caffeine can increase bodily activity, which says, in effect, exercise more and you will lose weight. And there are pills which claim to neutralize fat during digestion which agrees with the view that it is fat that makes you fat and if you destroy it before the body can digest it, you will lose weight. More of that later on.

    Had enough? Let’s look at reality.

    Fast food is equated with junk food and junk food, according to the experts, consist of potatoes hamburger, tomato, lettuce, onion, etc. all of which are excellent foods until you eat them at a counter or in your car. I did not include sodas and desserts which may legitimately be considered junk food. Potatoes have been reviled for years because they are fried or worse yet french fried. When they’re served as potato chips, they are thought of as the food you swallow absentmindedly by the handful while watching TV.

    Given the list above, it is a little embarrassing to be writing yet another book on how to lose weight. But we are doing it because no one seems to be facing all the simple facts that can influence your diet’s success. In addition, there are facts that can help make weight loss relatively easy. At the same time we will be telling you to let up on some of the things you (apparently) most enjoy eating and yet they are foods you do not suspect when you think about
