Spicy Cajun Shrimp Dip
This is a delicious Cajun style shrimp dip that is perfect to make during your next dinner party. It is so easy to make, you can prepare it in under 30 minutes.
Makes: 12 servings
Total Prep Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
¼ cup of green onions, minced
1 red bell pepper, minced
¼ cup of mayonnaise
8 ounces of cream cheese
¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1, 12 ounce pack of shrimp scampi
2 Tbsp. of lemon juice
1 lemon, zest only
1 Tbsp. of Cajun seasoning
2 tsp. of Worcestershire sauce
1 sourdough bread bowl, for serving
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
2. Dice the shrimp into small pieces
3. In a bowl, add in the minced green onions, minced red bell peppers, mayonnaise, cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped shrimp, lemon juice, Cajun seasoning, Worcestershire sauce and lemon zest. Stir well until mixed.
4. Cut a whole in the sourdough bread loaf. Scoop out some of the insides or until ½ an inch in thickness on the inside.
5. Pour the shrimp mix into the bread bowl.
6. Place into the oven to bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until browned.
7. Remove and serve immediately.
