      Welcome! We’re excited for you to go on this journey. This guide is based on the first three chapters of The Cure, Trueface’s flagship, foundational book. It’s for people who have already read The Cure as well as those who are brand new to it, and the sections of The Cure that we’ll be looking at are all included in this guide. This study is designed to help you cultivate your own community of grace right where you are.

      Trueface studies are built with the same overall structure and flow within your meetings. The overall structure is:

      Week 1: Relationship Week 2: Story Week 3: Study Week 4: Live

      We begin with an emphasis on the foundation of relationships, because grace is always experienced in the context of relationships. Then, we follow Jesus’s example of using stories to help us understand how truth and grace come together. We then dig into scripture and study what God’s Word says about the topic. Lastly, we go and live, because isn’t that what following Christ is really about?

      Within each meeting, we go through the same three sections:

      Connect: We spend time connecting with each other in order to grow in our relationships.

      Learn: We use content to help us learn and as a catalyst for growth.

      Live: We discuss and apply what we learned to our actual lives, so that we can live out and experience these truths. We ask ourselves questions like:

      • What does this mean for me personally?

      • What step is God inviting me to take?

      • How can we help each other?

      TRUEFACE

      Today’s culture is perfecting the art and science of creating masks. Behind these masks, people are dying inside. We’re here to change that.

      Trueface equips people to experience the freedom of living beyond the mask. When we increase trust in our relationships, we are able to experience being more authentically known and loved by God and others.

      Welcome to Two Roads: The Cure Group Study! We’re excited that this group is about to engage on this journey.

      During this first time together, we will place a greater emphasis on connecting in our relationships. We will get to know each other a little more and get on the same page so that we can go on this journey together.

      Every time we meet we’ll have three sections to our time together: Connect, Learn, and Live. Let’s get started!
