The Knitter

Autumn Sloes

THIS COSY poncho design by Anniken Allis features a lace stitch worked in an aran-weight wool. The project is knitted sideways as a large rectangle, with garter stitch edges, and then seamed along the top, leaving an opening for the head. This British Corriedale wool from Gorgeous Yarns is hand-dyed in beautiful colourways inspired by the Cornish countryside, and offers softness, warmth and excellent stitch definition.
