The beauty of her lands, the depth of her culture and the essence of her history are filled with such inspirational exquisiteness, that we could not help but fall in love with her. Individually, we began to record in our own ways the inspiration that surrounded us daily – the quirky and ‘frightfully British’ everyday occurrences that struck us deeply with its humour, gentleness and loveliness, always rich with cultural flavour.
When we met and found that we shared this passionate appreciation of our new home, there was nothing to do except to share it with you!

René Du Toit Ren was born in South Africa and became a global traveller fairly young when her family moved to Norway. She is an artist and designer, now living and working in London. Her colourful travels and full life experience have imbued Ren with a passion for hilarious cats and delightful collectible tins! Angie Allanby Ang was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She migrated to UK with her husband and sons and shortly after, acquired Elmo MacSwag the Dog, and they all live together in London. Ang is a freelance writer, a magpie for funky jewellery and loves a good red wine!
