D. L. Miller
As with Bigfoot, D. L. Miller is a bit on the reclusive side, rarely seen in public, spending most of his days sketching from his studio located amongst the mighty oak trees only found in the deep dark woodlands far off the beaten path. After spending decades learning the habits of the elusive bipedal humanoid, he has finally agreed to share his illustrative journals that capture the sightings of this larger-than-life creature that has mystified generations.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Move over Waldo, it is time to find Big Foot. This is a fun book that late primary and junior age students will enjoy. In this book you get an opportunity to read about some very well-known cities around the world. There is also an introduction to Big Foot at the beginning of each book in this series. There are fun facts such as food, famous landmarks etc. There are actual photographs of the landmarks and famous events. After reading about the city, you turn the page and are met with some very busy line drawn illustrations where you know only have to find Big Foot, but many other objects as well. The puzzles are challenging and enjoyable. I was reading this with my grandson on my laptop and we had to enlarge the pages to find Big Foot, the footprint was something we were never able to find. He got frustrated and stopped looking for Big Foot but still liked finding some of the other objects. This book is not for younger primary students as I could see them getting frustrated. This book would certainly sharpen observation skills though. I was glad there was an answer key at the back of the book for Big Foot and his print so we could find them if we gave up. I hope the actual book is large enough that you can actually spot Big Foot. This would be a great book for a school or classroom library. I could also see it keeping children occupied during a long car ride when on vacation. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via Netgalley.
