I wrote this book back in 2012, when my son was 7. Today he is headed to college. As he and I discussed college expenses, and went through the process of him turning 18, I thought I should review this book to see if I would change anything eleven years later.
And it turns out I would not change much at all. In fact, I noticed as I re-read the book that I repeatedly talk about how this is a process that takes years, and that this is just the start.
And I can say now, this is absolutely true. Probably more so now that I have seen the benefits of repetitive teaching. The sooner you start and the more you repeat the better!
I would like to say I have more information for you about the later years but haven’t had time to create much! Kids get much busier the older they are. Maybe once he goes to college, I will have some time.
