    Pastor Cyril Mugove Siringwani is the Senior Pastor of Home of Salvation Ministries based in Zimbabwe. He received the call from God to start a ministry in 2002 in a ‘road to Damascus’ experience. Before starting Home of Salvation Ministries, he led a number of churches in Midlands Province in Zimbabwe, preaching the Gospel of our Lord Jesus under an International Ministry. The call to start Home of Salvation Ministries was re-confirmed in 2012, leading to the birth of this ministry. Pastor Cyril is passionate about the rural and marginalised communities, is gifted and called to transform lives, communities, and nations through teaching and preaching the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. He holds a Diploma in Christian Leadership from Team Impact Christian University (USA).       I dedicate this book to the people in this world that God so loved to the extent of giving His only beloved Son Jesus to die in their place that none should perish. The whole world has of late encountered a notable common denominator in the form of a viral disease outbreak. This epidemic has ravaged nations, economies, livelihoods and taken many precious lives. The world landscape has changed permanently.  The message herein is urgent and clear; Jesus is coming very soon – get ready!

      If the message of the coming of Jesus is kind of new to you or somewhat unclear, I pray that God grants you understanding through reading this book. I pray that your life path receives light to find purpose, hope and meaning during this challenging era and that you come to have a fulfilling personal relationship with the Creator of the Universe. I also pray that you recover any losses experienced from the effects of the disease outbreak, and find the peace that goes beyond what the human mind can understand.

      If you are already in the knowledge that Jesus is coming soon, I pray that this book will ignite in you the zeal to run with the end-time message. I pray that the word concerning our Master’s return will burn inside you like ‘fire shut up in your bones’ making it impossible to keep your mouth shut but propelling you on a rampage to prepare multitudes for Jesus’ return.

      Introduction: Why this topic now?

      Many negative things have been happening around us. I am sure no ordinary person would have imagined that a viral disease epidemic could cause the world to come to a stand-still. We are now living in a world different from the past - it is no longer business as usual. These occurrences are signs with deeper meanings. It was spoken by prophets from long ago that in the last days there will be many challenges that include pestilences or plagues.  We are now living in the end-times!

      What then is the significance of living in the end-times? Right here comes the reason for writing this book. The end-times means we have come to the end of the age. Our Lord Jesus will come at any time, and people must be ready. This book is all about getting God’s people ready. Multitudes all over the world need to be prepared, urgently.

      The question then is – where does governance come in all this? The term governance relates to how something is run or managed. Commonly, this applies to high-level leaders. However, the writer presents here that issues of governance cover a wide-ranging spectrum starting from self or internal to external. People run their affairs on earth through governance principles at various levels; starting with their personal lives, expanding to families, processes, organisations or whatever jurisdiction to include nations. Therefore, governance taken from this viewpoint determines the overall spiritual, social and economic status of societies and this world at large. Yet we find that people, in general, have for the longest of time been governing their lives and what they do with their wisdom and the wisdom of this world, neglecting God's wisdom, which is the principal thing in life. The world system deliberately removed God and His word from many aspects of life, e.g. governments, businesses, schools, hospitals, marriages, family and personal lives.

      The problem is that earthly wisdom cannot prepare humanity for the end-time. Furthermore, this worldly wisdom cannot deal with the challenges hogging humanity ranging from broken and unfulfilled lives, broken communities, poverty, corruption, economic crises, natural disasters and of late the gigantic and invisible enemies like disease outbreaks. Furthermore, these challenges also hinder efforts to preach the gospel and get many saved so that they are ready for the return of our Lord Jesus. Corruption is a high-level enemy to socio-economic development and the general quality of lives of the human populace. Many organisations and nations today are poorly managed through poor governance.

      Issues of corporate governance, are often dealt with from a secular perspective, yet the root cause of challenges largely can be traced to spiritual bankruptcy. Through this book, you and I will co-labour with God and bring His wisdom back into the systems of this world through governance practices founded on the word of God. This book can complement traditional governance training from a spiritual viewpoint.

      In God and His word are answers to the issues of broken societies, corruption, poor leadership and every possible challenge that the enemy may throw at us like disasters, plagues etc. In the beginning, God created man and gave him dominion over the world and all creation. When man awakens to doing things according to God’s way, it is possible to exercise rulership over everything that creeps upon the earth or the invisible enemies that lurk in our atmosphere.

      Regarding the soon return of our Lord Jesus, several Scriptures attest to this. Let us look at just a few:
