Horrible history

We’re heading into the Ultra VW archive for this month’s Old gold feature, remembering the ‘horrible Heb’ that was featured in the August 2007 issue.

No one thought it was a real Type 14A Hebmüller when records 155 still known to exist today. A surprisingly high number when you consider the registry only has 166 Split Cabriolets on its books out of a total production of almost 10,000.
