ABOUT YOUR ADVENTURE
Are you destined to rule a kingdom? There’s one tiny way to find out. And it’s about to be a royal problem!
In this fairy tale, you control your fate. You make choices to determine what happens next.
Chapter One sets the scene. Then you choose which path to read. Follow the directions at the bottom of the page as you read the stories. The decisions you make will change your outcome. After you finish one path, go back and read the others for new perspectives and more adventures.
CHAPTER 1
THE NEW PRINCESS
You live in a magical kingdom ruled by a king and queen. While most people think the king is quite nice, they are a bit afraid of the queen. But they respect her. Her subjects know that if something needs to get done, it is best to ask her. The queen always jumps into action whenever there is a need. The king, on the other hand, will sit around and then act surprised when things get done.
For the most part, it is a peaceful and quiet place to live. That is, until the queen decides her son must get married.
And only to a princess!
the queen proclaims to anyone who will listen.
But what about love?
the prince asks.
Yes, I suppose you can be in love,
the queen says, waving her hand. As long as she’s a princess. That’s the most important part. We must uphold tradition.
Now the whole kingdom is buzzing. Who will be the lucky princess? Who will carry on the royal duties when the king and queen step down?
It is all anyone can talk about—especially the queen. Her subjects hope a new princess will be found soon. Things are really starting to go downhill without the queen’s full attention.
In the royal search to find a new princess, which role will you play?
To be Princess, an ordinary girl with a royal name, press here.
To be a monster of a prince, press here.
To be a retiring royal, press here.
CHAPTER 2
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Your name is Princess. While that sounds very dignified, you are anything but. Your parents are farmers, not a king and queen. But they have high hopes for you. When you were born, they named you Princess, hoping that you would become royalty one day.
But being a real princess is not for you. For starters, princesses in this realm have to act a certain way. They wear big ball gowns and uncomfortable-looking shoes. They’d never be caught wearing the pants and sneakers you love to wear.
And since you weren’t born a princess, the only way to become one is to marry a prince. The few you’ve met have been downright annoying. They brag about doing
