‘Becoming a trichologist was never my plan. I was a ballet dancer, but I started working on the reception at Philip Kingsley 16 years ago to earn some extra money. My father, Glenn Lyons, was senior consultant here and, once I realised what was involved, I became interested.

I took a distance-learning course for two years at the Institute of Trichologists, and qualified in 2008, while also training on the job.
