    Metaphysical COVID: Preface to a Larger, On-going, and Branching Work is an introduction to a survey being conducted by the writer, Grace Hughes. In this work she discusses her own experience of the illness, including disturbances and disruptions experienced in the subtle body, from the chakras to an overnight, head-to-toe, change in vibrational frequency, and a few other happenings of significance as well. 

     

    This book gives sincere thanks and acknowledgement to the scientific community for the vitally important work that they are doing to help us with this disease in terms of immediate care and research in the effort to develop effective therapeutics and a vaccine. It seeks, however, to explore those experiences that may not currently be scientifically observable or measurable, but that are part of a wholistic picture nonetheless. To that end, it directs readers to an online survey where they can anonymously share their stories. 

     

    This work is intended to connect with those who have had the virus and have experienced noticeable subtle body shifts and events during their illness. Dreams or visions that felt spiritual in nature, heightened sensitivity in the chakra centers of the body, and anything else that may not currently be classed as scientifically observable or measurable. Calling for, collecting, and compiling this kind of data is the means to discover if there are trends in it. Will there be any consistency across a large group reporting subtle body symptoms or spiritual events experienced with regard to this disease? We will only know  if we ask the questions, gather our anecdotal stories and responses, order and analyze them, and allow the trends to tell their tale. 

     

    When a critical mass of people with metaphysical experience of the disease have participated in the survey, there will be a good deal of data to review and comment upon, and that will then form the content of the next book, a full-length book of substance on the metaphysical aspects of Covid-19. 

    Anyone who has had the virus and who is 18 years or older is invited to participate in the survey, and anyone at all is invited to follow along and support this project.
