MCQs Series for Life Sciences - Maddaly Ravi
PREFACE
The MCQs series for Life Sciences, Volume I published in 2014, covered five areas of Life Sciences, Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology Developmental Biology, Genetics and Molecular Biology. The series is now complete with the Volume II which covers several topics in the areas of Cell Cultures and Microbiology. Both the volumes aim to address the needs of students in all the major areas directly related to Life Sciences for not only preparing for competitive examinations, but also as an augment for understanding the subjects better. The subjects have been comprehensively covered, while avoiding redundancy and 380 and 547 MCQs for Cell Cultures and Microbiology respectively are presented in this Volume II. As with the Volume II, all MCQs are presented in a simple language with straight forward multiple choices and answers.
I am also happy that one chapter in this Volume Chapter 14. Microbial Diseases
in Part 2 – Microbiology has been contributed by one of our students Ms. Shwetha Krishna who is currently pursuing her M.Sc. in Human Genetics at our College.
I sincerely wish that this Volume II of the MCQs series in Life Sciences will be useful for students to improve their performance in the regular course work examinations/tests as well as for those who are preparing for competitive/qualifying/entrance examinations/tests. I once again look forward to your feedback which will be useful for me to address shortcomings, if any in these two Volumes.
