About this ebook

No intelligent physical or energy force knows why, how, or when the universe came to be in existence. However, there is the formulated idea that the universe expanded from a very high-density and high-temperature state...13.7 billion years ago. Phenomena, including light energy, dark energy, and cosmic microwave backgrounds, extrapolated within the laws of physics, speculate that before a period of extremely high density, there was a singularity event known as the Big Bang. A cosmological model of the observable universe remains a comprehensive explanation for observed phenomena, tracing an originating single point, known as the "primeval atom."
Formation of subatomic particles, the primordial nuclides, are the interstellar medium from which the solar system was formed.
Thermodynamics explains the extension of the relationships between all forms of energy. However, it is the consciousness of the universe which is held in place by two contrasting flows of energy.
This consciousness flows through the vast dimensions of time and space, identifying with the dimensional wave manifesting as the third dimension. It constitutes a theoretical realm of space and time in which the particles and dark matter alternate reality by the electrical charges of the positive and negative forces. These forces synchronized to form dimensions and worlds, with thoughts and energy vibrations. But what about the unknown dimensions?
There are many mysteries within the universe including life and energy forms not non-constituted in the Natural laws of the visible universe. What if they cross worlds and realms into our plane of existence, to feed off our energies? These dark forces wish to turn all existence...into the obsidian darkness of totality!

Always a storyteller, my family now claims my fabrications are character traits of the weird and unusual! I grew up on the shores of the Oneida River in upstate NY and spent a lot of free time fishing, boating and swimming. I always loved science-fiction and fantasy and read books by authors Jules Verne, Tolkien, Stephen King, etc. My father was an avid reader and always bought a book for Christmas and my birthday. Mystery suspense, paranormal dimensional time travel, mythical creatures and mystical events are thoughts released from my weird little worlds in my mind into books. Presently I am writing a collection of short stories entitled "Murmurs of Madness”,tales which involve visions, voices, and visits from alternate domains and beings.

Gratitude is given to all my family and friends, who endure my off-beat imagination by letting it soar into the unknown dimensions…and then reel it back into reality!

And God said: Let there be light (Genesis 1:3).

Infinite Light and its channeling into finite vessels, is comparable to thousands of thoughts. In Genesis, massive energies contracted into creative existence…the Powers that result in the diversity of creation.

The more you approach infinity, the deeper you penetrate terror of the unknown.

    PROLOGUE

No intelligent physical or energy force knows why, how, or when the universe came to be in existence. However, there is the formulated idea that the universe expanded from a very high-density and high-temperature state…13.7 billion years ago. Phenomena, including light energy, dark energy, and cosmic microwave backgrounds, extrapolated within the laws of physics, speculate that before a period of extremely high density, there was a singularity event known as the Big Bang.

This portrays a cosmological model of the observable universe, and remains a comprehensive explanation for observed phenomena, tracing an originating single point, known as the primeval atom.

The formation of subatomic particles and simple atoms rose into clouds of primordial nuclides, present in the interstellar medium from which the solar system was formed. Nucleosynthesis in stars and supernovae mass ejection by cosmic ray spallation, survived in the primordial solar nebula through planet accretion.

There are many mysteries within the universe including unknown life and energy forms that cross into the dimensions and realms of the visible universe. Perhaps someday we will understand once our energy transcends to the pure light…or into the obsidian darkness of totality!

    1. NOW

Laq transcended, subsequently manifesting in the acrid heat and blinding light of the Colorado Desert. In the solstice of the summer, the temperature had risen to over one hundred and twenty degrees. Rain was non-existent, and the small oases were mostly dry.

However, Lag did not feel the heat nor the need to quench thirst. The hard baked earth would not show evidence of transcendence to this place on this planet in the form conspired. Laq knew it must remain abstruse, hidden from the negative dark energy beings. These things outside of the visible universe, sought only to destroy worlds into nothingness.

Beings such as Laq, constituted positive energy in varied degrees of vibrational density. From the Infinite power constantly moving and changing, beings of pure light vibrated at a higher frequency. Dark energy vibrated at a lower intensity. It fed off the negative thoughts and energy of the physical beings of various worlds and dimensions.

The form Laq had taken this time was that of a human female. Although she…since the form was now female, had countless times visited this planet in many forms. She had come before as an angel, a god, an animal and as an entity or a spirit.

The Thuh, the dark energy beings, had become aware of the intervention of positive energy manifestations and had found ways to arbitrate light being’s veils of concealment.

As a physical being, Laq would be hard to find in the masses of living physical forms. The Thuh had grown bored with mankind’s wars and violent acts spun by religions, politics, and racism, and were endeavoring towards destruction and annihilation of the planet…as they had with countless others. They destroyed conscious, intelligent life with negative thoughts and actions. The next target for total destruction…Earth. The massive eradication of all life would feed and strengthen their vibrational dark energy.

Laq made her way across the acrid desert. Part of the Sonoran, the Colorado desert encompassed seven million acres at low elevation, the lowest point at two hundred and seventy-five feet below sea-level. The geological scaping of the tectonic plate boundary of the San Andreas Fault connected to the northern extensions of the East Pacific Rise, so the region was constantly subjected to earthquakes, resulting in large sinkholes and rockslides.

The desert was not hospitable to many life forms, mainly because aquatic and dune systems were separated by vast expanses of arid desert terrain. Aquatic and wetland habitats were scarce, and runoff from seasonal rains and groundwater springs formed sparse desert arroyos, palm oases, freshwater marshes, brine lakes, desert washes, ephemeral and perennial streams, and vegetation.

After hours of walking through the hot, dry temperatures, Laq chanced upon an oasis which harbored a running spring along the fault line. She watched as an arroyo toad hopped away from her, startled by the unfamiliar form of a human. As she knelt to drink, several pupfish and clapper rails swam upstream. Summer rains had produced short-lived seasonal pools that hosted uncommon species like spadefoot toads. Desert fan palm oases were rare ecological communities and Laq took a moment to study the strange creatures living within the drying pools of water.

She shaded her human eyes from the sun’s blinding radiance. Now she was starting to feel the climate’s intense heat. She started to perspire and knelt to swallow several more handfuls of water. Laq looked northward and took her hands away from her eyes. The sun was beginning to set to the west, and she knew another hour of walking would bring her close to the Salton Sea Recreation Area, one of the largest inland seas and lowest spots on earth.

The Salton Sea was created when high spring flooding on the Colorado River, crashed the canal gates leading into the developing Imperial Valley. For almost two years, the river had rushed downward into the Salton Trough. Now the Sea boasted forty-five miles long and twenty miles wide. It was located thirty miles south of Indio.

She started out at a moderate walk. In another hour, the sun would be completely under the horizon. She quickened her pace. Once the sun set, the dark and cold would settle over the earth and she hoped to be within sight of artificial light within the human populace.

Laq had to correlate the relativity of time as it pertained to the inhabitants of the planet. To humans, time was the indefinite continued progress of existence and events that occurred in irreversible succession from the past and the present to the future. They thought of time as a component quantity of various measurements used to sequence events, comparing the duration of the intervals between them.

Six thousand years ago, man used the moon to measure time. Laq remembered that calendars were based on twelve lunar months. Other early forms of calendars created in Mesoamerica, in ancient Mayan civilization, were astronomically based. In 45 BC, Julius Caesar commended the Romans to a solar calendar. Later Pope Gregory the XIII, introduced the Gregorian calendar which was now used presently throughout this world.

Laq glanced at the sun as it slowly descended. Solar time was a calculation of the passage of time based on the position of the sun in the sky. On a prograde planet like the Earth, the sidereal day was shorter than the solar day. At midnight, the sun, and a certain star, were both aligned overhead. At noon, the planet had rotated three hundred and sixty degrees and the distant star was overhead once again.

She smiled bemusedly, then frowned at the motion her facial features had exhibited. It would take some time to accustom herself of physical traits.

As far as humans were concerned, time had a definite start or beginning. They based their knowledge and perceived fact of measured cosmic background radiation microwaves, on a massive explosion over thirteen and a half billion years ago, called the Big Bang Theory. However, there was no further detection of other forms of radiation from any other origins pertaining to the universe.

Presently, scientists were considering a more enlightened and logical speculation. They surmised time as a motion, containing an ether…a scientific term for what physicists called a fifth element. It was a substance that was believed to fill all space and make up all physical matter. If the universe were Euclidean…space in any finite number of dimensions, it would ascertain empty space where matter was merely a matrix. The reality involving unification of a single equation objectification of time with energy would be viewed as matter-less motion.

Laq knew time was motion and not matter. It involved measurements of the motions of one thing with respect to another. Piloting a time measurement or using it in an equation did not make it a dimension. Yet being a traveler across worlds, she knew that the universe had no endpoint and that the end of one universe would transition into another indefinitely.

This was the Infinite. The great eternal power that encompassed everything in existence. The entirety of space, time, matter, energy, and the constants…were parallel, alternate, or multiverses. Space was divisible in infinitum, while matter was not. Particles of matter of several sizes and figures in several proportions to space, and of different densities and forces, varied to the Laws of Nature and created visible worlds in systems in galaxies. Yet, there existed things outside of the Laws, formulated in darkness.

Laq was so involved in her thoughts, she was somewhat startled to find she had walked into an inhabited area. The first thing she noticed was the slight smell of decay as birds fed off dead fish littering the rough terrain of the shoreline. The lake was shallow and there was no flow, however, the reflection of the mountains off the still water was breathtaking at sunset. Nonetheless, the odors among the salt and rocks in the humid ambiance, seemed at first like a post-apocalyptic scape.

Salton was a giant saltwater lake instead of a sea. Laq could see a few people coming in from the lake, their angler lines loaded with fish and the sea birds shrieking relentlessly around them, hoping for a fresh dinner. She stood motionless, not sure how to approach these humans in her present stature. Suddenly a soft masculine voice startled her from behind.

Hello there Miss, the voice resounded. Are you waiting for someone? All of the rental boats are back in, so I hope you didn’t miss anyone.

Laq abruptly turned around. The unfamiliar thumping of her human heart stopping her momentarily as she placed her hand over her left breast. The young man looked apprehensively at her action.

I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to startle you, he stated. It’s just that I run the boat rentals and keep track of all our fishermen out there. With his finger pointing at the small fishing boats lined up on the shore, he counted again. He nodded and then looked back at Laq.

Yep, they’re all in, he stated. Who are you looking for? Maybe they’re up at the center checking in. Do you want to come in with me and see if we can find them?

Laq tensed but then nodded. The sun was setting, and she could see light pouring from the windows of the center. She followed the human man about two hundred feet further up the beach.

She silently thanked the noisiness of the gulls and pelicans as they followed the few people heading towards the center. It gave her a few minutes to collect her thoughts. She had to tell this human a plausible story of why she was there!

Once inside the building, the young man turned his attention back to her. Taking a deep breath, she related her tale.

My friends left. They went to Palm Springs. I didn’t want to go, so they went without me.

He nodded uneasily and then asked her name and where she and her friends were camped. Laq became a little apprehensive. The art of deception was still hard to inaugurate even in this human form. Yet, this man seemed genuinely concerned for her. She carried her made-up dilemma a bit further.

My name is Lacara, she simply stated. Lacara Joel, Her name reflecting when she had last come to this world as an angel. The young man nodded and smiled, telling her Lacara was a pretty name.

Thank you. Everyone calls me Cara, she exclaimed. I know this is going to sound…a little odd, but my friends and I were not camping, just doing a bit of geological research. We had an argument and they left me here. I guess they think I am…dull, because I didn’t want to go back into the city with them.

She looked down, wondering if the man would believe her fabrication. Wetness welled in her human eyes and fell over her cheeks. She was amazed at the process more than the young man. He took her hand in his warm and gentle one.

I am sorry your so-called friends abandoned you Cara, he said softly. But you’re not alone. We’ll figure out a solution together. You see…I believe everything happens for a reason. You are here and we were brought together. Call it Karma, God, or the powers of the universe. We are of as this moment, a pair of adventurers on a quest to discover, well whatever we need to discover!

Cara was amazed with this candor. It seemed the Infinite had aligned this meeting with this human. She looked into his essence and knew he was something more. He had an aura of light around him. She smiled and he took it as a sign that she put her trust in him for the time being.

She seemed somehow fragile yet strong at the same time. He sensed no ulterior motive in her heart, no dishonesty or malice. She had stood up to the people who left her to go party, yet she was not morally distressed over the situation. He didn’t care. The stars had aligned and brought them together. What would happen after tonight, well they would just have to see. He didn’t realize his thoughts were immensely underestimated!

His house was small yet comfortable, located in Mecca, a small community of Riverside County. Being a part of the desert region, houses were equipped with heating and cooling units as the daytime temperatures could exceed over one hundred degrees, and night temperatures could descend into the thirties.

It is basically a desert province, but I’ve lived here my whole life and I call it home, Jason, the young man explained to his new house guest. The community is small, and people are friendly and hard working. There are agriculture fields, and people come to work from all places. There is not a lot to do here recreationally…the beach is mostly used now just to launch fishing boats, but there are a lot of attractions to visit nearby. It’s a safe place to live where you can go out without worrying about anyone or anything happening.

Cara nodded, although she wondered what Jason would think in future days when things would be far from safe or normal. She looked around the sparsely furnished rooms and seemed content at the comfortable surroundings. Jason Stewart, as the young man had introduced himself, was intent on making her feel welcome in his environment.

He noticed the grime and dust of the desert on her clothes, face, and hair, and told her if she wanted, she could take a shower. He grinned and told her he would grill some hamburgers and zucchini slices for dinner. He imagined she was as hungry if not starving, more so than he himself.

Cara was a little confused. Did he mean she should wait for a shower of rain to cleanse herself, she wondered? She stood hesitantly, not quite sure where she should go or what she should do.

Hey, it’s okay Cara, Jason remanded. The door has a lock on it, and I wouldn’t intrude on your privacy at all. I know young women must be extra careful these days, but I am not a creep, pervert, or serial killer. I just feel that you need a little help and like I said before…I believe there is a reason that we met, and you are here now.

Cara nodded and looked through the door that Jason had pointed to. There was a big white shiny trough in there, with a smaller shallow basin and a thing like a chair that held water.

She knew this must be what humans used to hold and wash water over themselves to clean their skin and hair from the dirt and dust of the earth. She started to walk timidly towards what the man called the bathroom, when he called out to her.

Hey, let me turn on the faucet for you. Sometimes I must play with it to get the water temperature exactly right. I’ll get you some clean towels and washcloths. You can use the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner on the shelf in there. I also have some clean clothes if you want to change. You look about the same size as my sister. She left a lot of things when she started Grossmont College in El Cajon. There are some hairbrushes and extra things in her bedroom…in which you are welcome to stay by the way. Let me set the water temp and I’ll bring everything into you.

Cara watched as he fuddled with the handles in the big oblong thing. Well, this would make it easier to wash then to bend down next to the chair-like basin, she thought. She thanked him and waited in the well-lit room. She glanced at a sign over the little basin. It read… WE AIM TO PLEASE. YOU AIM TOO PLEASE! Oh, it suddenly came to her. This is like the things she saw before that humans used to catch and remove their bodily waste. That was another thing she would have to become accustomed to…eating and eliminating.

So many things she must learn while she was here in this human form. But she must also shield her light energy from the Thuh, so they could not thwart her mission. Jason returned
