Years of magical warfare have transformed the once beautiful Culver into a desolate, polluted wasteland forgotten by much of the world. But great riches await those brave enough to explore its war-torn landscape, treasures and relics so valuable men gamble their lives to retrieve them.
Men like Michael Carter.
But when Michael and a group of ragtag scrappers unearth a mysterious chamber, the eyes of the world quickly turn upon the Culver. For within the chamber lies a magical rock long sought after by the magic men of the world. A mineral so powerful its wielders can control both the land and sky.
Now Michael and his companions must race across both the Culver and a sea of acid in the hopes of hiding the weapon from those who would exploit it.
For the fate of the Culver, and possibly the entire world, now rests upon their shoulders.
Dregs of the Culver Waste is an action packed, grimdark fantasy series from the mind of Chris R. Sendrowski. Review
"The dark milieu and the fantastic descriptions of this world where Mad Max meets Dune will leave an indelible impression upon the reader, even the minute details such as the unique words for time such as calls and turns. And as awful as the world is, the curiosity is much too persuasive. It's difficult to let this world go.
Incredibly well written, this is one of the best first novels I've ever come across." - The Portsmouth Review
Haliden's Fire
A magical firestorm. A race against time. Can one man save himself and the history of his people before the fire devours everything in its path?
Haliden Stroke, the famous painter of Alimane, had it all: recognition, wealth, a dream home nestled in the quiet countryside. But his obsession with work eventually cost him the only thing that truly mattered to him: his wife, Milane.
And now, as the deadly wall of fire known as the Breath slowly burns its way across the land for the first time in four hundred years, Haliden gives up everything for one last chance to make amends.
But leagues of chaos and danger stand between him and his love. Fire worshippers and thieves plague the land, preying on those fleeing toward the refuge known as the Block - a massive, granite wall built hundreds of years earlier to protect the wealthiest from the Breath. The very same place where Haliden's Milane has taken up with her new love.
Haliden must now race against the very fires of hell in the hopes of rekindling the love waiting for him at the end of the world.
Review
"Haliden's Fire burns with original world building, compelling characters and a story that pushes relentlessly forward through impossible to anticipate twists and turns. This is one of the year's must read fantasy novels." - Philip Athans, Best Selling Author of Annihilation and Writing Monsters

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I picked this up for a beach read - I'm a nerd at heart - and was blown away by the story. I think I burned through all three books in about three days. The initial 2 book series is dark and violent, filled with scoundrels and thieves. But the main characters, particularly Michael Carter and Waypman Belnar, were really well fleshed out. Both are the fantasy equivalent of blue-collar workers just trying to make a living, when they get caught up in a war over a powerful, magical mineral. From their the story really takes off with tons of action and political intrigue. Even the ad-on book was a delight to read, as it dealt with the same world of Retrac Daor, which the initial two books took place in. Great read and I can't wait for the next series!
