      The Vending Machine Industry

      In business, and in the 21st century there is no need to reinvent the wheel anymore. Although you can try and reinvent the wheel, you may hit roadblocks every step of the way. Try instead to copy a model that is already working, then replicate it or tweak it where you see necessary. Since a decent amount of the great ideas have already been manifested, it is becoming increasingly harder to start something completely different. Throughout the course of this book, I want to share some of the secrets that I have learned over the past 7 years in the vending industry from owning my own vending company. Instead of wasting your time with the failure or not knowing where to start, I am going to wholeheartedly try to give you all I know to get you off the ground running.

      If you picked this book up, it is most likely because you have the dream of being your boss and not having to wake up every day going to a job you hate. The statistic for the amount of people that go to a job that they are not satisfied is higher than anyone would ever believe. People are not fulfilled doing mundane work that they have no purpose doing. A lot more people are turning towards entrepreneurship to get the fulfillment they deserve from life and the financial freedom they deserve!

      The vending industry, and owning vending machines is one place to start. It can be managed with just a few hours a week and it is a very profitable industry, with profit margins above 50% usually. Just like any other business, it takes determination, persistence and patience to be successful. The best part of this business is that you can manage it from your home if you have some space and potentially a garage. Obviously as you expand you will want to find a warehouse, a dolly, and some other equipment that is useful as times goes on with your business. It all will depend on how big you want your business to grow. It is all up to you.

      To begin, without wasting any time because I am sure you are eager to learn, take out a notepad and write down what your desired amount of income is. When you have that number, we can use this to figure out how many vending machines you would need to place to get to this point. You will learn later in this book the different types of machines that exist as well as which make more and which are better. But for now, we will keep it very basic, and very simple. We are going to start with assuming the amount of monthly income that you desire.

      Say $10,000 is your desired monthly income, you would need to assume that you need to place around 25 large vending machines (Soda, Snack), or
