I thought this myself, but then I made my first apple crumble and fell in love with the process.
The recipes in this book might seem involved, but they have been chosen to provide the best results in very little time.
Few of these methods will require you to make a crust from scratch unless you want to.
You can get freshly prepared crusts that taste just as good as the one you bake yourself.
I hope you find that apple pies don’t come in one mold, but can be as diverse and varied as the people who cook them.
