Which is why at season-changing time, we rely on our weather apps all the more – yr.no, Accu-Weather, Windguru, Google’s weather app, the ones that come built in with your smartphone . . . bring them on.

But there’s a problem: they seldom, if ever, agree. One will tell you there’s no chance of rain, while another will advise you to get out your raincoat.
