It’s Germ Warfare

We owe our lives to the bacteria and viruses that swarm the planet, as they laid the foundation that paved the way for our evolution. As we specialised to fill a part of the ecosystem, they continued to develop ways of becoming even more successful in theirs.

We have colonised the Earth but sometimes we’re the ones that are colonised in ways that may have little consequence or may be mutually beneficial to us, but may also be a full-scale invasion.

As you read this, the coronavirus responsible for the Covid-19 outbreak is either still infecting new patients, or is under control. But the factors that will determine which is true will not be because we have a cure. It will either slow by identifying and isolating those infected more effectively, or it needs to have infected enough
