    Confirmed Cases Of Coronavirus Crest 600,000 Worldwide

    Authorities are setting up a temporary hospital with 1,000 beds at the Jacob K. Javits Center on Friday in New York City. The city is bracing for an overwhelming tide of patients, as its number of confirmed cases continues to rise.

    The world has marked yet another grim milestone in its fight against the coronavirus, as the number of confirmed cases worldwide crested 600,000 overnight. As of Saturday morning ET, data from reflected more than 614,000 in number of cases.
