BAKE A DIFFERENCE HOST A BAKE SALE
Calling all bakers! We’re joining forces with No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to end childhood hunger in the United States. One in 6 children in the US faces hunger. It happens every day, in every community. Hosting a bake sale is an easy, effective way to raise funds for this worthy cause.
More than 12 million children in our nation live in “food insecure” homes. This means that those households don’t have enough food for every family member to lead a healthy life. In some families, the pantry is completely empty. In others, parents skip dinner a few nights a week so the kids can have something to eat in the evening. In others, families are making the impossible choices between paying rent and buying groceries.
Bake sales are for more than just school-age kids.
