Salmon pot pie
Salmon pie is characterized by mild salmon aroma combined with brandy and nutmeg.
Serves: 4
Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a saucepot. Add onion and garlic and cook for 6 – 7 minutes or until onion is translucent.
2. Add brandy and cook until reduced (about 2 minutes). Whisk in the flour and cook stirring for 2 minutes.
3. Add heavy cream and bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook for 4 minutes. Stir in nutmeg and salmon meat. Season to taste.
4. Heat oven to 425F. Coat four ramekins and place onto a baking sheet. Roll the pastry to a 14-inch square. Cut out 4-5-inch circles.
