A slight wind of optimism blows over the fur trade right now, maybe the first warm wind after a long cold winter that has seen prices decline steadily since the exceptional boom year of 2013. Every year since, prices have declined more and more. If this is the first time that you have read a market report, you should know that we are probably right now at the lowest price point in history when it comes to fur prices, basically for everything other than coyotes and bobcats.
