Dealing with that pressure can be very difficult. Whether you’re a seasoned rifle hunter and have just got into bowhunting or you’re new to close-quarters hunting full stop – movement, wind direction, noise and timing will never be so important.

On average, most deer are shot from around 22-24 metres with a bow in New Zealand. When you are this close to deer, it’s like there is an invisible sand timer on your shoulder.
