God commands us to have a spirit of excellence. In our previous articles we have discussed how to develop this by 1: having a sense of belonging, and 2: being dedicated. In this issue we will delve into more ways to develop this spirit of excellence further:

3 Singleness of purpose

In order to develop a spirit of excellence, we need to understand our purpose. For example, my single purpose as a minister of the Gospel is to meet the needs of the people. I, vs 6) are always determining the direction their life should take. As a result of this instability, they can never totally commit to a single purpose and develop excellence.
