t is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I must write this column. My good friend, mentor, and a great friend of , Robert “Bob” F. Marx has passed away. Most of you know Bob because he was a world-renowned underwater archaeologist, public speaker, pioneer scuba diver, author of. Bob was famous for his truly heroic and swashbuckling adventures in his younger years when he did what most of want to do but just dream about. He was a larger-thanlife figure, a man of adventure who lived life to its fullest. An inspiration for us all!
