HOW NOT TO REFINISH YOUR RIGBY!
Believe it or not, but the rifle in the accompanying photograph started life as a best-quality Rigby sidelock ejector chambered for the venerable .470 Nitro Express cartridge!
It was photographed in Zambia many years ago by well-known gunsmith Danie Joubert. As can be imagined, Danie’s comments regarding the refinishing of the rifle cannot berepeated in a family magazine!
