CALL ME THE BREEZE

It’s hard for me to get excited about calamari. Rubbery rings, over-fried and over-salted. But here, I’m ready to fight over the last golden loop. The silky al dente rice, with its hints of ginger, is so perfect I eat it plain on its own. The crusty and you can actually taste the eggplants in the , which swims with tomatoes, garlic and spices. For entrees and sides, this is a strong start.
