WA BOAT REFURBISHED FOR LOCAL FISHING FAMILY

Xtreme Marine in Geraldton, WA has recently completed a project to lengthen, modify and refit the 18.3m (60ft) aluminium monohull Seawest for local fishing family the Ottersens.

The Southerly Designs vessel was built by Geraldton in 1999. In the mid 2000s it was sold into the offshore service sector and saw several years hard work under the name . It then spent a number of years laid up before being purchased for re-conversion to cray fishing in 2018.
