RECENTLY, MY regular walk on the Sea Point Promenade has begun to feel a bit like The Jetsons. Between the electric bicycles, the motorised scooters and the self-balancing unicycles, there’s something whirring, whizzing or zooming everywhere I look. I’ve slowly moved from annoyance (‘Who are all these youngsters with their silly toys?’) to intrigue, and possibly jealousy (‘Actually, that looks really fun!’).
