Goblins appear in myths from all round the world
Today, goblins are perhaps best known for running the wizard bank Gringotts in the Harry Potter books and films, but in the Middle Ages, belief in goblins was widespread across Europe. They were thought to be small, misshaped humanoid creatures who were mischievous at best and maliciously monstrous at worst.
