Chapter 1

The Beginning

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. God created the great stars, and placed them light years away from earth to look beautiful at night and to serve as a guide for navigation. He made the moon and planets. It took a very long time.

The earth was formless and the spirit of the Lord was hovering over the surface of the deep. It was very quiet, and God said in a loud voice, ...LET...THERE...BE.... LIGHT.....  and there was light.

The whole surface of the earth became visible, it was covered in water, dark blue, light blue and green according to their depth and God separated the light from the darkness. The daylight, he called day and darkness night. This was the time he created the great sun and placed it just in the right position, to give sufficient heat and light to the earth. It was the first day. God said, it was good.

Twenty-four hours later, at daytime, God separated the water from the waters and dry land appeared. The dry land he called land and the waters he called the sea, the second day. God said, it was good.

Twenty-four hours later, God’s masterplan was to take effect. Since a day is like a thousand years to the Lord and a thousand years like a day. This creation took a thousand years which is the third day. God brought out various kinds of vegetation from the earth, plants, trees according to their kind. He was preparing the earth to be beautiful and habitable for his final plan, to create human in his image, have his likeness, his creativity and that he can call them his children and have relationship with.

So, God put in a lot of heart and planning in his creation as he wanted it to be perfect. He has been planning this for a long time.

Trees were to omit oxygen for breathing and they were of different species according to various kinds. He planted around the Earth. Some trees had exotic woods for making musical instruments, some for furniture, others were for utensils, flooring etc. which the Lord will eventually give mankind the wisdom to create with.

Herbs for health, vegetables and trees that bear fruits of various kinds he created in all parts of the world, according to their climate so people can trade with one another. Rubber trees were planted for tires and other creation that men will eventually find a way to use them. Each tree he created, was different from another and no two leaves were alike, even on one tree. They all had a unique print.

The ground was covered with lush soft grass which was easy and comfortable for the feet, you may need no shoes to walk on them.

No viruses and disease were present on the earth, only good bacteria for gut health. No thorns or thistles were present. God filled some placed with rainforest and pine trees according to their climate. It took a while as God was taking his time on each species, to see they were created perfectly. He spent time making one species at a time. All in all, it took a thousand years. The third day. God said, it was good.

God created all the wild animals and domestic animals on land and the sea. Fishes that were exotic and colorful that swam in schools. Some fishes for eating and some not. The great sharks and whales in the sea. Fishes on rivers, crocodiles in swamps. All kinds of birds in the air, to teach mankind they can fly too someday.

He spent a lot of time creating each group of species. On the land, God had a special design for various kind of dogs. He gave them a loving nature and faithfulness towards mankind. So, they will be a good entertainment, will protect them and be a good companion to men. They will also exhibit gratefulness which would teach mankind to appreciate one another and not to take others for granted.

Large land animals he created like various wild cats, the tiger, panther, lion and wild elephants. The land was filled with various animals according to the climate. Since the northern hemisphere was a bit colder he created snow leopards to dwell in them.

Polar bears, mink and so forth. Although God is much older than us, he is a lot younger than us ,when it comes to creation. He created adorable animals in furs. The oxygen disperses the sunlight so the sky will be blue. sunset would be beautiful with various colors.

Most animals were clothed with fur to keep them warm at night. It took a thousand years to complete. The fourth day.

Chapter 2

Lucifer’s Plan

God then surveyed the earth on the fifth day to see everything was in order for human habitation. He didn’t need to adjust anything, as all were created perfectly. He did it, just like a loving father will do for his children, inspecting the wonderful gift he has prepared for them. Twenty-four hours, the fifth day.

Meanwhile in heaven, in the kingdom of God, lucifer, who is one of the arch angels, besides Gabriel and Michael, who is in charge of worship in heaven, was jealous with God’s plan on earth. He overheard God speaking to himself, of creation and making human in his image and likeness and to have his spirit.

Lucifer thought to himself, here I have been serving God all my life and he is to create humans, whom I will have to stoop to and serve. Since familiarity breeds contempt, Lucifer wanted to stop God’s plan in creating mankind. He first approached Gabriel who is in charge of information and Michael who is in charge of warfare. Neither of them had started anything on their roles yet, but they believe God had designed them and given them a purpose for a future reason.

Gabriel and Michael tried to talk him out of it. Michael said Lucifer, are you out of your mind, challenging God? Have you forgotten you are a created being and that he made you the most beautiful and talented archangel and bestowed the gift of music for worship. Is this how you repay him for his kindness?

What kindness? lucifer said, he created me to serve his purpose only.

Gabriel said, but don’t forget he is God and creator of all things. He had chosen you even before creating you because you are important. Lucifer said, important? To me or him? Gabriel said you can’t challenge God and win. Lucifer said, let’s see about that. I too have powers and can do anything. He wouldn’t listen to either of them.

Lucifer thought to himself, I can’t do this by myself. I need support. Since Gabriel and Michael are not with me I have to convince the angels. he gathered all the angels and told them about God’s master plan. He said, listen, o mighty and glorious angels, today is a very sad day. There has been no grief in heaven before, but this will devastate you. All the angels began to turn to each other, what does he mean, sad? Trouble? Is something wrong? Won’t God interfere, as he is all mighty and powerful and no one can stand up against him.

He said, today you will all lose your positions as angels serving God and enjoying freedom and shall become servants and slaves to a weak race called mankind. The angels said, what? God will not allow that. There was much murmuring. Lucifer motioned with his hand and asked them to calm down.

Then Lucifer said, its God who allowed that. He has created mankind in his image, have his breath and become his children. You shall stoop low and serve them like slaves. A number of angels were outraged, they asked, why? Aren’t we good enough for him? why would he want to do that? We have served him all our lives.

With manipulation and vigorous oratory, he convinced one third of the angels to rebel with him. The two third shook their heads and said, "come what may, we will not rebel against God, if we are called to serve them, so we shall. For God always does things with a good reason.

In the end it will be a blessing".

When God returned from earth from his survey, Lucifer requested an audience with God. The Lord allowed Lucifer to approach his throne for an audience. Lucifer bowed low and said, o lord God almighty, supreme one, for you created all things for your good purpose, we live breathe and have our being in you, so may I humbly present my case to you.

God knew Lucifer had an agenda, so he said, speak . So, Lucifer brought his case to God and told him not to create mankind and that he and the angels, have been serving him faithfully for so long and that he should give earth to him, to lord it over and for angels to inhabit the planet.

Lucifer said, I haven’t had anything to Lord over, for all these times I have served you faithfully. Let this be a gift of kindness from you, so I and my angels can inhabit the earth.

God was furious but he spoke calmly to Lucifer. He said, I know you have served me well all your life, but isn’t what you are asking for too much? Will a father take his inheritance and give it to his servant? Shouldn’t the servant rejoice in the birth of his children and protect them, guide them and train them in the father’s household?

Lucifer did not listen, he gave God an ultimatum. he raised his voice, if you went ahead with creating mankind, me and one third of the angels will rebel against you and we will leave and create a kingdom of our own. I’ll be God and king and my angels will be my subjects.

This was the last straw for God, he said, "fine, since you wanted earth, and be a royalty, I’ll make you the prince of the air along with your angels. They will have no form and will be invisible. And you will not dwell on earth, only on air.

You shall not dwell in any bodily form, be it an animal or human unless you have been given exclusive permission by me or the animal or human". He then renamed lucifer Satan, and the fallen angels as demons. He took away their beauty and gave them a different form, hideous and they were then cast down as spirits to the air of the earth, where they wondered in arid places not finding rest. Being Invisible.

Chapter 3

The Creation of Mankind

God returned to earth on the sixth day for his final and great master plan. To create mankind in his image. He picked up a handful of drenched soil up in his palms and lifted it up. He breathed into the mud and nostrils formed to receive the breath, then there were lips forming, head, ears, neck, torso, hands, legs and a full human being in the image of God came to form, and the first being, sucked in  deep breath as if he was underwater for a long time, gasping for air.

He began to look at his hands and feet and touched his face and was curious who he was. He saw his creator face to face and touched his face and realized his creator looked like him. He went on his knees and worshipped him. God lifted him up and said, I call you Adan.

And brought him and showed him all that he had created for him and his descendants. Adan was awed. God allowed him to name all the animals. And whatever name Adan gave, so were they called.

For many years, Adan walked with God and enjoyed his company and his creation. Adan was alone and no suitable helpmate was for him to be his companion and partner. So, God put Adan into a deep sleep like a surgeon would put you under anesthetics, to perform delicate surgery. God took a rib out of Adan and closed the flesh and with the rib he created Eva. The first woman.

He brought Eva to Adan. She was very beautiful. Adan was so pleased and called her woman, because she was taken out of man. Adan was in pain after surgery, so Eva took care of him, tending to his wound until he was better.

Both man and woman were created in the image of God although Eva was made from Adan’s rib. The reason God created Eva from Adan’s rib was he wanted the two of them to become one in unison of agreement, love and a family. The sixth day.

Both of them were naked, but felt no shame for the glory of God covered them. God finished all his work on the sixth day and when he created mankind he said, it is very good and rested on the seventh day. This was the only time God said it was very good when he created mankind, the other creation he did, he only said it is good.

The seventh day he made it holy and instructed Adan and Eva to keep the sabbath holy, by resting from their work.

Mankind will come forth from woman, be it male or female. God balanced the equation between Adan and Eva. But Adan will be the head of the family. Caring for his wife and children and providing for them.

Adan and Eva walked with God in the cool of the morning for a thousand years. They had no plans of having children first, as they loved the fellowship of God and each other.

God said to Adan and Eva they can eat the fruit from any tree they chose except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they will surely die.

God didn’t want man to eat from the tree of good and evil, so that they will be free from sin. Once they have the knowledge of evil and they break God’s law, they have transgressed.

In order to have a relationship with God, one has to be totally free from sin. God gave them all the knowledge to be creative, to innovate things. He was to teach them about goodness, kindness, compassion, giving etc. and Adan and Eva will pass them on to their children and children’s children. The reason God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil was to give them a freedom of choice to obey him or disobey him

There was also a tree of life but Adan and Eva chose not to eat the fruit from that tree, cause the fruit didn’t look pleasant and there was no need, because they were to live forever anyway.

Satan’s Plan

Satan was planning for a long time, how to get Adan and Eva to turn away from God and cause enmity. Adan and Eva were close to God and it was not going to be easy. He finally came up with a master plan after much consideration. He knew he was good at convincing and manipulating. That was one of his traits, like how he manipulated one third of the angels to rebel against God.

The serpent or snake was one of the craftiest animals on earth. Satan knew he had to take a bodily form to meet Adan and Eva disguised as a serpent. The serpent in those days, had legs and could walk.

Satan saw the serpent downcast, sitting alone all by himself, slithery scales, smooth appearance and vastly colored, beautiful actually.

Satan asked, why so downcast my friend, is everything ok?

The serpent said, well, Eva doesn’t like me. She is kind of scared of me. Every time I say hi to her, she will scream and chase me with a stick. I am in no favor with mankind and its lonely. Satan said, I can show you a way to get back at them. So, he revealed his master plan.

He said to the serpent, if you could lend me your body, I’ll convince Adan and Eva to sin against God and lose their inheritance and relationship with God. That way, you and I can inherit the earth and all the goodness in it. He even promised the serpent that he will be second in line after him in ruling the earth. The serpent said, can you convince them? Since they don’t like me?

Well Satan said, leave that to me, I convinced one third of the angels to rebel against God. Is this too difficult for me? The serpent believed him. This was all too tempting for the serpent so he consented in allowing Satan to possess his body.

Chapter 4

The Fall

One day, Eva was walking in the garden looking at the tree of knowledge of good and evil. She was curious why God didn’t want them to eat of it. The fruits looked good.

Suddenly Satan disguised as the serpent, spoke from the tree. Hi Eva, how are you? Eva was taken aback and said, I chased you once before, what have you to do with me? Be gone. Have you forgotten the bitter end of the stick the last time? Satan said, guess why I decided to curl up on the tree? To escape your wrath. Be calm Eva, aren’t all animals created by God and you should show kindness to all the animals equally?
