A. There are so many misconceptions about the Templars that I could simply say, ‘Almost everything you think you know about the Templars is wrong’, but that would be unfair to those who do know something about the historic Templars. To choose just one misconception, there is a misconception that Templars were burned at the stake and their organisation was dissolved because they were found guilty of heresy.
