      Angie, it has taken me all night to find the words I want to say to you. Let me start by saying, Thank You for being this amazing woman that God loves me enough to bring into my life.

      I think our friendship started long before you and I knew it ever existed. When I realized what was happening, it scared me, and I just wanted to completely back off. I didn’t want any new friends, and I didn’t want to get close to anyone because they weren’t genuine at all, they just wanted to hold on to my coat tails for the ride. You, sweetheart, changed my life. But the most incredible thing is that you also changed me.

      This weekend has been the hardest for me since I was released from my therapy sessions, because when anything would occur, I would just go to therapy and talk about it. But this time I felt like a sinking ship that wasn’t going to emerge back on top of the water. But I fought and fought until you, Angie, made me realize that no matter how damn crazy my life is, you STILL CARE!

      I’m not sure you realize the magnitude and the influence you have in my life. I don’t ask for anything, and the one thing I don’t do is ask for help from anyone. I think you know this about me, among other things as well, but you just continue to be the loving friend you know I need. The one thing that you said to me yesterday, and I still don’t realize it, was Tammie do you realize how many people love you and admire you? I really don’t focus on it at all, I just do things from my heart. When I post certain things on social media, it’s not to inspire and motivate everyone else. I do it for myself, because I need to keep telling myself that I have to be strong and just focus on God each and every day.

      But here is the thing; I’ve made my decision to accept who I am and embrace it, and just realized that God gave me this gift to use in the most spiritual and positive way. And I will do just that. But I wouldn’t have come to this decision if it wasn’t for you, Angie. Your thoughtfulness, your compassion, and your love for me shows me that if my friend can do all these wonderful things for me, I can give it back to her as well.

      I admire you so much, and I don’t want you to worry about me. I’m going to be just fine because I have the most amazing friend named Angie, who doesn’t know she is my inspiration to never give up on anything.

      I love you, sweetheart, and thank you for opening up your heart to me and letting me become a true friend to you as you are to me. Angie, this book is dedicated to you….Squad Over Everything.
