SEASONINGS
These are the seasonings that gives Puerto Rican food it’s unique flavor. Simply add recaito or sofrito to any dish for an added kick. They make any savory dish taste so much better! I remember my mom always having these seasonings on hand. She would make large batches and freeze it. I call them my Secret Sauce!
RECAITO
Ingredients:
1onion
1green bell pepper1 bundle cilantro
1bundle culantro
1bulb garlic
Pinch of Celtic sea salt, ground
1teaspoon sunflower oil (optional)
Method:
Blend all ingredients in a food processor for 1-2 minutes. Store in a glass jar and keep in the refrigerator. Use within 1 month. Can be frozen and used within 3 months.

Ingredients:
1yellow onions
2cubanelle peppers
2sweet chili peppers (ajices dulces)
1bulb garlic
1bunch cilantro, washed and
