About the Author
1 WHAT IT’S ABOUT
Idon’t know where you are on the I can’t sleep
continuum. Your sleep may be mediocre, or it may be almost nonexistent. Maybe life stressors and aging have taken a toll on your sleep. Or you got insomnia abruptly and can’t seem to get back on track. However poor your sleep is, I know your suffering (more on that in the next chapter).
I wrote this book because I have something special to offer you. Conventional sleep tips were not enough to help me sleep. A heavy tranquilizer nearly destroyed my life. But I was shocked when a unique combination of foods and nutrients cured my insomnia. I’ve slept well for almost ten years now because of them. I am going to share them with you.
I’ve done rigorous research for this book, but I’ll present it to you in as few words as possible. After all, you’re eager to get back to sleep at night. And you want to get started with simple, concrete actions.
Beginning in Chapter 7, that’s what I’ll give you. Until then, I’m going to explain how I got there and why my recommendations make sense.
