About this ebook
August 1942. Prime Minister Winston Churchill meets with Premier Joseph Stalin in Moscow. Churchill's task: to explain why Britain and the United States would not launch an invasion of the European continent that year. Stalin was demanding that his allies open up a second front so that it would draw off German divisions from the eastern front where the Red Army was fighting for its life. Churchill's news would be difficult to deliver and hard for Stalin to accept. A Visit To The Ogre In His Den is a short story inspired by Churchill's tense confrontation with the ruthless leader of the Soviet Union.
