Reviews for The Newest Princess
4 ratings1 review
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The first book in the Itty bitty princess kitty series. Itty Bitty Princess Kitty is the full name of the main character but fortunately she is called Itty most of the time. Magical elements in the fairy forest, a sparkling flower and a tiny fairy, announced that itty’s eighth shooting star will arrive. This means Itty will become a princess of Lollyland. The special arrangements that are made for the upcoming change were not all as welcoming as her favorite foods for dinner. Itty would get a new hairdo, a new room and she would be palace schooled. Itty is afraid that through all these changes she will not be herself anymore but her parents let her know that she can be the princess she wants to be. An easy to read series for those getting ready to start on chapter books. Large fonts and black and gray tone illustrations on every page. Short chapters will make this appealing to beginning readers. The fans of owl diaries and Critter club will love this too. Possible to go lower than 2nd grade. The reviewer had a hardback copy.2nd - 4th gradeWrittenAD

The Fairy’s Announcement
It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon in Lollyland. Itty Bitty Kitty and her best friend, Luna Unicorn, were playing in the field of flowers behind Itty’s home, the royal palace of Lollyland.
"I spy with my little eye … a fairy!" Luna exclaimed.
A fairy?
Itty giggled. Good one, Luna! We are more than a hop, skip, and a jump from Fairy Forest. There are no fairies in this field!
She’s right, Itty!
Itty turned to the sparkling flower that had just spoken.
Really?
Now Itty believed it. Flowers rarely spoke. When they did, it was because they had something very important to say.
Itty looked up and saw a tiny fairy flying toward them. A moment later, the fairy landed on a flower. She was no larger than a butterfly. From the miniature trumpet she carried, Itty knew exactly what kind of fairy she was.
That’s an announcement fairy!
Luna cried.
Maybe she’s looking for the palace,
Itty
