- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great war stories
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is another classic Reeman. He has an amazing ability to create the atmosphere of the WW II English navy. His descriptions of naval action are exciting and realistic. Details of the vessel and the duties of each rank aboard the ship are described by someone who had been there. In fact Reeman did serve in the navy during WW II. This was his first novel and a darn good one it is.
