    Can Vegetarians Really Go Keto?

    The vegetarian diet , according to research, is one of the best diets for weight loss. Devotees follow a vegetarian diet for a number of reasons, including health reasons, a desire to limit one’s carbon footprint, and a desire to see a decrease in animal abuse. The reasons for following a vegetarian approach are irrelevant for our purposes here. What matters, for our purposes, is that the vegetarian diet has been shown to be twice as effective at achieving weight loss as traditional low-carb diets.

    That doesn’t mean it’s foolproof, though, and many vegetarians are interested in doubling down and pursuing additional, complementary strategies. More and more people who follow a vegetarian approach have now also implemented a ketogenic approach.
