If you don't already have a lot of books with baby patterns this is a good compilation, Nothing really stood out to me in terms of "new" patterns.

Crochet One- Skein Wonders for Babies by Judith Durant and Edie Eckman is a delightful book filled with enchanting pictures and designs that are unique and would make anyone happy to be the one to receive such wonderful gifts. Each item has close up, detailed pictures and very complete instructions on how to make the item. The book starts out with the cutest variety of hats and caps, my favorite is the pixie hat which is just too cute! Next they have the socks and booties. They even have mommy and me leg warmers, how cute is that? The next section has tops and dresses but also contains sweaters and vests. These are so unique and nothing like what my grandmother made. These so so stylish and clever. My favorite of this section is a delightful cape. Chapter four is for little bottoms. This includes such fancy diaper covers, skirts, and pants. Next is bibs, wash cloths, and burp rags. Then comes the safe and unique toys that are sure to keep the little one' s attention. I love the Pegasus. Blankets and sleep sacks come next and the Zucchini sleep sack and cap is sooo adorable! Last is the bags and accessories which has a rich variety of items. This is a must see book for anyone that has a baby, knows a baby, or does craft fairs. Such great ideas here. Lovely book. Get it for the person you know that is into crochet. There is 101 projects here. Such detailed instructions, pictures, ideas, creativity, wow, loved it! I received this book from NetGalley for a honest review and it in no way effected my review or rating.

This review is for both One-Skein Wonders for Babies & Crochet One-Skein Wonders for Babies. If you knit or crochet and your go-to baby gift is handcrafted then you need one (or both) of these books. Tons and tons of hats, clothes, toys, blankets, and more, all knit with only one skein of yarn. Even a few things for the rest of the family. Great photos, clear instructions.
