    INTRODUCTION

    If you often feel too sensitive to what is happening to others around you, you may be an empath. Being an empath can drain your mind as well as your body. By taking on someone else’s feelings, you can become depressed, anxious, or experience other sensations that you would not ordinarily experience. You might think there is no reason for you to feel this way. However, there is a reason. You are an empath, so you are different from other people in this way.

    A few of the main symptoms of highly sensitive and empath people are that they are prone to being overly-sensitive, anxious and sometimes become depressed by looking at other people. Empaths are susceptible to these feelings every day no matter the occasion. This can be a real struggle and a great challenge especially when you are an empath today. An empath in modern society is constantly bombarded by an abundance of external simulation that can purely drain their energy. They hide themselves away and feel alone. However, being an empath is a true gift. You should embrace the gift and not run away from it.

    This deep, feeling ability has been given to you, so you can really be there for other people near you. However, before you can begin to help others, you must learn to harness your gift and heal yourself. Fortunately, there are numerous suggestions and recommendations you can use that will help you feel less depressed, less anxious, so you can function much better each day.
