Mindfulness is the simple common sense that’s lost in this fast-paced world. Mindfulness means paying attention in the present moment and observing your current experience without judging it. We spend so much time and energy judging ourselves, judging others, and comparing ourselves to others, instead of loving and living life fully right now.
You were born with a natural ability to be present and love life. Imagine how it would feel to return to this calm, joyful state.
Dwelling on the past and worrying about the future prevents you from being present to enjoy life today. Focusing on fearful outcomes drains your energy and creates stress and overwhelm.
Get out of this trap. Become mindful and stop thinking too much, doing too much, and being preoccupied. Stop allowing chaos to consume your time and your attention. Use the simple steps in this book to free yourself from the prison of chaos and become calmer, happier, and healthier. Learn how to be here now and stop feeling exhausted all the time.
Being mindful doesn’t mean you don’t plan for tomorrow or have goals you want to attain, it means you pay attention to what you’re doing in the present moment. It’s in the present moment that you plan for the future, and work to reach your goals to build the life you want to live.
When you focus on being present and living each moment fully, life becomes simpler. Think about how beautifully life flows when you’re doing something you love and you’re completely immersed in the moment. Being distracted takes away from the pleasure of living now and loving life.
Mindfulness is about love and loving life. When you cultivate this love, it gives you clarity and compassion for life, and your actions happen in accordance with that.

The Power of Mindfulness
Have you ever felt like there must be more to life than what you’re experiencing?
Living mindfully is a way to experience life deeply, enhance your well-being, and feel calmer. Stop feeling overwhelmed, unfulfilled, and unsatisfied. Use the power of mindfulness to see the beauty that exists in each moment and to feel it with all of your senses. Explore how things taste. Notice what you see, what you smell, and how something feels when you touch it. Is there any sound or is there silence? Become aware.
Instead of just seeing a red rose, notice the various shades of red, the feel of the soft velvety petals, and enjoy the sweet smell as you take a deep relaxing breath in. See how your experience changes when you observe the rose with your senses all at once—without separating sight, touch, and smell. Do you feel more peaceful when you experience the moment this way?
Discover pleasure when you pay attention to life as it unfolds. Open your arms and embrace life. Treat each moment as if it were the most important moment of your life. See the beauty within you and around you. Watch life blossom like a beautiful flower, revealing the joy hidden within each moment. Live fully today.
Be present without judging. Observe without being influenced by what you’ve been taught to expect or see, and free yourself to appreciate life in a whole new way. Stop being lost in your thoughts, feeling pressured and stressed out, and simply experience what is, as it is right now.
Treasure the moments you have now. Don't wait until you get to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow to enjoy life; experience joy in each moment as you dance along the colourful path to whatever destination you seek.
One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today.
