    At long last, A MOUNTAIN OF UNTOLD TALES has been completed. Many of its narratives were created decades ago, while others were conceptualized more recently. Nevertheless, this collection of twenty-five fictional short stories is diverse.

    The first thirteen stories are filled with situations, dialogue, perspectives, and emotions from everyday life. Several plots pertain to family, friendship, childhood, marriage, travel, and more. Some of these tales describe the more favorable or quirky facets of life. Yet a few of them also depict unpleasant but more realistic circumstances. However, these are distinctly different from the subject matters of the remaining storylines. They portray themes which are much darker in nature.

    These final twelve stories elevate the more sinister aspects of humanity. They consist of gloomy, shocking, mysterious, supernatural, ghoulish, and immoral tales which were created for those enjoying this kind of genre. Yet, in some instances, the characters, settings, and consequences are laced with a bit of history and humor. Regardless, the premises for all of the narratives are done in a fictional context.

    Why not split these stories into two books? The reason is simple. Life has many high, low, steep, and level paths. They can be joyous, amusing, tragic, horrible, or unresolved. These tales therefore try to ramble up and down these roads...and allow those viewing them a chance for some unique journeys.
