    Life is about decisions.  If you are facing decisions about sexual activity with nothing more than verbal commitment or about using illegal drugs, then you should read this book.  It may help you to make the right decision.  If you have problems because of who your parents are and how they treat you then please read this book.  The things I discuss I have successfully used for many years and gave people very real help.  I cannot guarantee you any specific results because I cannot predict your future, but I do know many have been helped this way.

    For many years I have ministered and prayed for people who had a multitude of different problems.  The Lord is always faithful to respond and help those in need that are willing to humble themselves and come to Him.  However, they could have avoided these problems if they had used some wisdom in their lives.   Many have no one to teach them about these things and do not realize the implications and even the dangers of many of the things that they do.  Later in life, their pasts will catch up with them and wreak havoc.  It is for this reason I wrote this booklet. 

    One thing I have learned in my years of ministry is: "Experience can be a very painful, life-altering, and even destructive teacher as well as an exciting adventure.  It is wise to avoid the bad and cultivate the good.  Learning from other's mistakes is an invaluable tool in avoiding the bad."  To paraphrase an old quote; "Those who do not learn from their past are doomed to repeat it."   After working to mend people's broken lives for thirty years I would like to start helping some of them do it right the first time.

    It has been the desire of my life to become a witness of Jesus the Christ and to experience the power of His love, first in me and then to the world. I believe that only by experiencing or witnessing Him will the truth be revealed to us. It is not the truth of theologians or scholars that I seek; it is Him who is the truth that I must know. The purpose of true revelation is to know Him and His power and not to receive a greater intellectual understanding of the Bible. Because the Bible contains the knowledge necessary for life and godliness then it will follow that a much greater understanding of its contents will come when following Him. I believe we must constantly remind ourselves that we have not been instructed to follow the Bible to find Christ, but rather have been instructed to follow Christ, and through this relationship, the Bible will come to be properly understood.
