    What Are Hemp Seeds?

    Technically a nut, hemp seeds are the seeds of the hemp plant, from the same species as marijuana (cannabis) but a different variety that contains only a trace amount of the compound in marijuana that gets people high, THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).
