Dr. Vernellia R. Randall makes her 4th visit to The Context of White Supremacy. Dr. Randall is a retired Professor of Law at the University of Dayton. We previously investigated her 2006 publication, Dying While Black - an examination of a medical system saturated with Racism; "Blacks lag behind on nearly every health indicator, including life expectancy, death rates, infant mortality, low birth weight rates and disease rates. Blacks are sicker than Whites. Blacks have shorter lives - Blacks are quite literally dying from [Racism]" The text also includes suggestions on things black people can do to counter Racism while striving for optimal health - no smoking would be an awesome start.
