Description
Dallas has been a hot real estate market for the past 10 years or so. As you probably know, Rich and I were buying there back in 2005 and 2006, when California real estate prices were so high things just didn't make sense. Kind of like today. We weren't buying for appreciation. We didn't expect that to ever happen. We just bought for cash flow. And then prices took off over the past 5 years or so, just after we sold...Oops. Anyway, people are still asking me if Dallas is a good place to buy, and my answer is always: it depends. You can always find good deals in any market. Even in CA. But perhaps the bigger question is, is Dallas in a bubble and could that bubble pop? Today's guest is just the guy to tell us what's happening in Dallas today. Tim Herriage is CEO of the 2020 REI Group. And was the Founder and Managing Director of Blackstone’s B2R Finance, and the Founder of the REI Expo, which he sold. Tim has completed well over $1 Billion in real estate investment transactions, including the acquisition of more than 1,400 houses in his sixteen-year career. So he knows a thing or two about real estate investing and finance. Tim, welcome to the RWS. Thank you for joining me here.
